Project Overview

This project involved repairing a Concrete Dock in Aransas Pass, TX. The goal was to improve durability, drainage, and functionality for our customer.

Scope of Work

• Demolition and removal of old concrete
• Installation of new Tie Backs
• Reinforcement with rebar
• Concrete placement and finishing
• Control joints to prevent cracking

Challenges & Solutions

The existing Dock had cracking and uneven settling due to age and washout of Materials. We corrected this by Cutting sections of Concrete out and filling the voids with Lean Concrete. Project included the installation of new Tie Backs to prevent the Bulkhead from falling away further. Finally, Poured a 7″ thick Concrete Cap over the repaired areas proving a new working area for the customer to use their equipment.

Final Result

The finished Commercial Dock provides a safe, and long-term durability designed for heavy use in coastal Texas conditions.
